Super Sunday: Block Party

Come to the Wexner Center on Sunday, March 4 for free art activities for all ages, from edible sculptures to splatter painting, all inspired by the geometric metal sculptures and paintings of David Smith in our current exhibition Cubes and Anarchy.

The galleries are open and admission is free from 11 AM to 6 PM; activities take place between noon and 5 PM. Stop by Heirloom 12–4 PM to fuel your explorations with the café's popular all-day breakfast fare, sandwiches, baked goods, and beverages.

Try your hand at creating edible sculptures (with pretzels, graham crackers, chocolate, and the like), while exploring the geometry and construction of David Smith’s sculptures; splatter paintings that recall Smith’s spray paintings on view in the galleries; and collaborative sculpture-making with Build-It Discs. You can also take a speedy, fun, and informative tour of exhibition.
