Explore the field of design and design education in collaboration with the university's Department of Industrial, Interior, and Visual Communication Design and Columbus Public Schools. In this workshop, you'll tour the exhibition Extreme Textiles, interact with a panel of design educators, explore design as a focus of interdisciplinary connections, and learn how to introduce design to your students through projects that make them aware of how designers approach real-world problems. Art, science, and classroom teachers are encouraged to attend.

To register and reserve your dinner, please call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org with your name, address, telephone number, school, and subject/grade level you teach. Please register by April 18.
