Walk-in Tours: Spring 2013

No reservations are necessary for these enlightening and informative tours of our exhibitions. Just meet your docent (tour guide) at the gallery entrance at the time listed.

Tours are offered on varied days and times, so you can find one that fits your schedule. You’ll see highlights of the exhibition and have plenty of time to ask questions and express your own ideas.

Shimon Attie’s MetroPAL.IS, an immersive video installation supported by the Wexner Center's Film/Video Studio Program, tackles the Arab-Israeli conflict. Members of New York’s Palestinian and Israeli communities perform a text that combines sections of the Israeli Declaration of Independence (1948) and the Palestinian Declaration of Independence (1988), revealing their surprising similarities.

Paul Sietsema’s multimedia work in film, drawing, and painting explores how many bodies of knowledge—about history, culture, and art itself—are far more fluid and mutable than we assume them to be. Featuring the debut of a new film supported by a Wexner Center Artist Residency Award, this exhibition is the most comprehensive to date for the artist, who is based in Los Angeles.
