Check out the special outdoor screening of Dave Chappelle’s Block Party. The documentary follows Chappelle as he arranges and throws a block party in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn on September 18, 2004. Kanye West, Mos Def, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, The Roots, and other hip-hop and neo-soul musical artists perform at the party (and in the movie), as well as the marching band from Ohio’s Central State University Marching Band. Chappelle performs comedy monologues and sketches in between the musical acts (103 minutes).
