Wex Lab: Single-shot Live Music Video

wex grid image fill

Find out how to make single-shot music videos, all in a single day.

The teens in this workshop will work with national freelance music videographer Ryan Schlagbaum—and with local musicians—to learn how to make a music video visually compelling without relying on complicated visual effects or editing multiple shots together. We’ll check out videos by musicians including Feist and Radiohead, then launch into our own projects with live local bands in our Performance Space (one of the best venues for emerging music in Ohio). We’ll explore how you can shape the viewers’ experience through camera movement, content manipulation, and a little choreography. And we’ll give you a free lunch, too.

Space is limited, so register early, and invite a friend to join you to work together. E-mail edweb@wexarts.org to register or with questions.
