Launch your kids into a weeklong buffet of printmaking, low-relief mold-making, and mosaics with Julie Greenberg. Click here to register! Julie, a fabulous returning artist/educator who specializes in teaching our youngest artists, will show how all of these artforms offer a taste of how fun and colorful textured bumpy projects can be. Julie Greenberg, originally from New Jersey, earned her BFA in sculpture from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She lived and worked in the Mississippi Delta, teaching art in a public middle school. She is currently pursuing her MFA in printmaking at Ohio State while teaching beginning drawing at the university. Registration fees are just $95 per student, per workshop for the general public. Wexner Center members save: members' registration is just $75 per student, per workshop. (When registration is open, you'll find registration links right here.) Locations and Equipment All classes will be held on the top floor of Sullivant Hall. Students will receive confirmation information and directions to the drop-off point for each workshop via e-mail. In our computer classes students will work on a Macintosh laptop. Children are welcome to bring digital cameras from home for photography-related classes; but please remember to include the cord, battery-charging system, and an empty memory chip. If you don’t have a digital camera, just let us know and we will provide one. Changes and Cancellations Dates and times are subject to change. The Wexner Center reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment without incurring obligations. If a class is canceled, you may transfer to another class or request a full tuition refund. If you withdraw from a summer workshop up to seven days before the event, you will receive a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after that time. Friday Celebrations Each Summer Kids workshop culminates in a final celebration during the last half-hour of class. Parents, guardians, friends, and family are invited to join the class at this time to see what the young artists have done. Scholarships A limited number of scholarships are available for families requiring financial assistance. E-mail edweb@wexarts.org or call (614) 292-6493 for more information about scholarships.
