wex grid image fill

Come to the morning A Woman's Work? symposium, then build on its insights at this afternoon workshop especially for teachers. You'll enjoy a complimentary lunch, visit Landscape Confection, and then work with Linda Fowler, nationally known contemporary quilt maker and codirector of the annual Quilt Surface Design Symposium, to learn how the textile-related work in the show can be used to inspire student art projects and discussions about American history and the nature of contemporary art.

The afternoon workshop is especially recommended for art and social studies teachers in grades 4-12. The workshop is free; preregistration for the workshop lunch is required. Please bring your own textile-related work to share.

To register and reserve your lunch, please call 614 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org with your name, address, telephone number, school, subject you teach, and grade level.
