In case you missed it, we're happy to share video of the October 14 lecture by Columbia University professor of Art History and Archaeology Kellie Jones. Highly acclaimed as a curator and writer as well as an educator, Jones focuses in this talk on the work of sculptor Elizabeth Catlett and painters Elizabeth Murray and Candida Alvarez to consider this question: What if the history of art were taught as a history of female artists?
Special thanks to our cosponsors for this talk, Ohio State’s Department of History of Art.
