As "Six in the City: Columbus" hits the one-year mark, join celebrated author Larry Smith for an intimate, cabaret-style evening of storytelling at the Wexner Center’s black box Performance Space.
Six storytellers—via spoken word, music, improv, and more—will each start with six words on Columbus and then share the backstory. Hear from Ralph Fredericks, poet Amy Turn Sharp, Hot Chicken Takeover’s Joe DeLoss and Shannon Wilson, fashion visionary Celeste Malvar-Stewart, The Dharma House's Aaron King, The Armchair Report's Keida Mascaro, and be there for the Wexner Center debut of 15-year-old musician Chloe White. The evening includes a special "in the moment” piece by Available Light Theatre as well as a “Six-Word Slam” open to anyone in the audience.
VIP ticket holders are invited to a private reception with the storytellers before the show starting at 6 PM. Enjoy preferred seating, two complimentary drink tickets, and a copy of The Best Advice in Six Words: Writers Famous and Obscure on Love, Sex, Money, Friendship, Family, Work, and Much More.
Doors open at 7 PM so you can grab a drink and find a seat. The show begins at 7:30 pm sharp.
