Theater in the Classroom

Attend an afternoon performance of DynamO Theatre's me, me, me, meet with the cast to ask questions, and then work with Dr. Brian Edmiston, an associate professor in Ohio State's School of Teaching and Learning who specializes in theater and drama education. After the show and Q & A session, Dr. Edmiston will demonstrate how to use some of the theater structures you'll have observed in the performance, along with other drama education strategies, to enhance learning and engage all students in studying texts. Dr. Edmiston is the author of Imagining to Learn: Inquiry, Ethics, and Integration through Drama.
