Featured along with Fate, Confession caught the attention of moviegoers at both Cannes and the Edinburgh film festival last year, where it was said to herald "the arrival of a major new force in world cinema."

The second in the Tales about Darkness trilogy, Confession was a stand-out entry at last year's Edinburgh Film Festival, where it was hailed as "the most shattering depiction of marital life since Bergman's Scenes from a Marriage." The film focuses on a successful engineer whose fear of his wife's infidelity leads to mutual deception, gradually altering their marriage in unexpected ways. (2001, 91 mins.)

In The Third Page, the life of a man who ekes out a living as an extra on TV shows is violently disrupted when he can't pay back a small loan to a local gangster. (1999, 92 mins.)
