"Priscilla, Queen of the Desert meets Mystery, Alaska."--Time Out

Winner of the Audience Award for Best Feature at the recent San Francisco and New York Lesbian and Gay Film Festivals, The Iron Ladies tells the amazing true story of a Thai male volleyball team consisting mostly of gays, transvestites, and transsexuals excluded from playing for more established teams. Although they face problems at home and in competition, when they make it to the national finals, they demonstrate to everyone what true sportsmanship and self-respect is all about. (104 mins.)
