More Muppet™ Magic: Jim Henson's Legacy

More Muppet Magicbrings together a daylong November mini-festival of Muppet hits and rarities, and a day of screenings related toSesame Streetduring theZoom: Family Film Festivalin December. This series is made possible through the generous assistance of The Jim Henson Legacy, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Sesame Workshop, and tour organizer Irena Kovarova.

Sun, Nov 14, 2010 3 PM

A crowd-pleaser when we showed it in 2007, this unique program of rarities examines the origins of the Muppets through early live TV appearances, unusual commercials, guest spots on the Jimmy Dean and Dick Cavett shows, and much more. You’ll also see excerpts from rarely seen early test versions of The Muppet Show. Recommended for ages 8 and up. (90 mins., video)

Special package tickets for this event can be combined with those for Zoom: Family Film Festival.
