With his solo music theater work Bird in the House, the Columbus-raised, New York City-based sensation paints surreal scenes of childhood, coming of age, and coming out in Mid-America. Featuring songs from his 2015 release Color Movies (TONK records), Bird in the House premiered in New York at La MaMa in April 2015 and went on to be a highlight of the Public Theater’s prestigious Under the Radar Festival last January.
