Comprehensive Paul Sietsema survey and immersive Shimon Attie video work on view this summer

The spring/summer exhibitions at the Wex will feature a pair of solo shows: Paul Sietsema, the most comprehensive account of the artist’s body of work to date in an exhibition organized by the Wexner Center, with a new work as its centerpiece; and Shimon Attie: Metro.PAL.IS., an immersive multiple-channel HD video installation that tackles the Middle East conflict with characters cast from the Palestinian and Israeli communities in New York City. Both exhibitions will be on view at the Wexner Center for the Arts May 4–August 4, 2013. The Sietsema exhibition will tour to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago later this year.
