Deadline March 30 for 12th Ohio Short Film & Video Showcase

The Wexner Center is now accepting entries for the 12th annual Ohio Short Film & Video Showcase. The showcase provides Ohio’s independent media artists a chance to show their work in a theatrical setting before an audience. Last year’s crowd witnessed 13 short works by artists from across the state. Deadline for entries is Friday, March 30. The Showcase is Saturday, May 12 at 7 pm at the Wexner Center.

General guidelines: Pieces must be independently produced, no longer than 20 minutes, and produced in Ohio within the last 18 months. Entries must be submitted on 1/2” VHS videotape, mini-DV, or DVD. Any format of film or video may be submitted. Only one entry per person. Works submitted to previous showcases will not be accepted.

Note: A Youth Division of the Showcase for producers ages 18 and younger will be held the same day at 4:30 pm. Deadline for entries is also March 30. The works from the Youth Division will screen Saturday, May 12 at 4:30 pm.
