Artist's Talks

Informal presentations by artists.

Thu, May 19, 2005 4:30 PM

Chicago-based performance artist, sculptor, and fashion designer Nick Cave discusses his ongoing "Sound Suit" project. Created from such throwaway materials as bottle caps, twigs, and garbage-bag ties, the suits make sociopolitical statements about gender, class, and race. Cave teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Presented by Ohio State's Department of Art Education. Cosponsored by the Wexner Center.
