Shane Mecklenburger works between media, installation and performance. His projects examine valuation, conflict, and identity in popular culture and art.

He received his M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Mecklenburger's recent work includes making a diamond out of gunpowder.

Cosponsored by Ohio State's Art and Technology Program in the Department of Art.
