Wex Lab

These creative workshops can be for teens, tweens, or multigenerational groups. The workshops are kept small to provide individual attention—so register promptly.

This daylong Wex Lab workshop for teens combines studio time spent drawing and reviewing your portfolios and sketchbooks with a brief history of the comics and graphic novel forms.

This Wex Lab is now full! Stay tuned for the next Wex Lab (for all ages) coming up in December with artist Emily Westenhouser about puppets and puppetry in conjunction with ZOOM Family Film Festival Sunday December 5th.

Local artist/educator Julian Lee leads the course, but you’ll also hear from some of the major talents visiting campus for Ohio State’s Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum's 2010 Festival of Cartoon Art.

Free lunch is included and advance registration is required for this small, limited-seating class that’s guaranteed to fill quickly. E-mail edweb@wexarts.org or call (614) 292-6493 for more information and to register.
