April Homolak

Head of Finance and Administration

April Homolak joined the Wexner Center for the Arts in 2024 as head of finance and administration. In this role she works closely with the center’s executive director and leadership team, as well as with Ohio State’s vice president of operations and deputy chief financial officer, to align financial and business operations at the center to efficiently deliver on its mission and realize its strategic plan. Homolak plans and executes strategies that support the center’s programs and visitor-facing business functions, all while guiding financial operations, budgetary planning, business policies, customer service, and information technology solutions. A member of the center’s leadership team, she draws on her project management expertise as well as her knowledge of the center to guide its finance, facilities, technical operations, and visitor experience teams.

A seasoned higher-education finance professional with a focus on guiding strategic forecasting to ensure financial sustainability, Homolak has driven process improvements and supported long-term initiatives at Ohio State, most recently within the Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences. She holds Lean Six Sigma yellow and green belts, a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accountancy, and a master’s degree in public policy and management, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education and student affairs.
