The Headless Woman

If you want to brush up on a number of films screening at the Wexner Center in the not-too-distant future pick up the July/August issue of Film Comment. Amy Taubin has a feature on Lucrecia Martel's latest The Headless Woman (screening July 24 & 25), Agnès Varda and her new film, The Beaches of Agnès (September 17 & 18) are profiled, and there is a review of the new Chilean film, Tony Manero (July 10 & 11). Unfortunately, local coverage of these types of films is increasingly rare and one needs to turn to national and international sources such as Sight & Sound, Cinemascope, and Film Comment. All of these titles, by the way, are generally available in the Wexner Center Store.
