It Gets Better

You've probably heard of the It Gets Better project, sparked by author and syndicated columnist Dan Savage in response to a spate of LGBT teenage suicides across the country last year. Since then, thousands of individuals, couples, groups of friends, colleges and universities, nonprofits, corporations, public officials, sports teams/clubs, actors, musicians, arts groups, and a host of others from all over the world have recorded and posted videos encouraging young LGBT people to stay strong and stay alive to see their own futures.

The Wexner Center for the Arts is committed to building and sustaining an environment that is open to and accepting of all people. We hope the personal and passionate perspectives shared by these Wex staffers shows that It Gets Better — really.
