Always nice to see when thoughtful and/or not-bashful music writing emerges from the heap, either from the ashes of burned-out publications, or from out of the ether. One recent entry into the online music fifth estate that definitely stands out is
The Agit Reader
, and has, over the last few months since its launch, hit a very nice stride of current-day and historical music criticism (as in, "you should know about this precedent, kids"), the kind one scarcely sees, certainly in print, anymore.

are the muscle behind
The Agit Reader
