Collaboration is key to what goes on at the Wex, and one of our favorite partnerships in recent years has been with Cartoon Crossroads Columbus. We've been fortunate to work with the cartoon festival's organizers on hosting wildly popular programs like a visit from Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau in 2016 and the premiere of the film My Friend Dahmer, based on the graphic novel by John "Derf" Backderf, earlier this year. Another 2017 highlight was a totally absorbing conversation between Caitlin McGurk, one of the extraordinary women behind the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum, and Chris Ware, author of Building Stories and the new compendium Monograph, and arguably the most celebrated cartoon artist of his generation. We've had a lot of people who weren't able to attend the sold-out talk ask whether it would become available online. We're happy to announce that with Caitlin's assistance and Chris' permission, we can share the conversation with you now. Click below to listen, and enjoy!
