Dealing with the historical and iconic figure of Simon Bolivar, this film is part historical satire and part telenovella parody. BolÌvar I Am sees a soap opera star get carried away playing the role of the great South American general and liberator Simon Bolivar. The actor storms off the set when the script becomes increasingly divergent from the real Bolivar's life. He then embarks on a quest to continue Bolivar's unfulfilled dream of uniting South America. Here's an intelligent comedy touched by magical realism. With Robinson Diaz. (93 mins.)
