Burning Life follows two female Robin Hoods who go on a bank-robbing spree in the desolate eastern states of a recently unified Germany. With Maria Schrader (Aimée & Jaguar) and Anna Thalback (Downfall). (105 mins., 35mm)

In the little town of Herzsprung—whose name recalls an ancient legend of broken hearts—an unemployed mother and widow's life becomes even worse when her relationship with a dark-skinned traveler becomes the source of gossip in the village. (87 mins., 35mm)
