ACCESSIBILITYWe strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. If you have questions about accessibility or require an accommodation such as CART captioning or ASL interpretation to participate in this event, please email accessibility@wexarts.org or call (614) 688-3890. Requests made by two weeks in advance will generally allow us to provide seamless access, but the Wexner Center for the Arts will make every effort to meet requests made after this date.
You’re invited to kick off homecoming weekend by joining alumni, friends, and students for a screening of Kill the Irishman with producer Tommy Reid.
Alumnus Tommy Reid returns to The Ohio State University for an inaugural film event presented by the Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts in partnership with the Wexner Center for the Arts. Join us for a screening of Kill the Irishman, and stay after the screening for moderated discussion and Q&A with Reid, the film's producer. (program approx. 175 mins.)
Before the screening at 6:15 PM, stop by for a reception in the Wexner Center’s lower lobby featuring complimentary snacks from the College of Arts and Sciences and a cash bar.
This event is free, but registration is required. The deadline to RSVP is Friday, September 29. RSVP on Ohio State's website.

At the Wex, we are always excited to showcase our collaborations with Ohio State’s College of Arts and Sciences, and homecoming week is no exception. In addition to this program, join us earlier in the evening for a talk with writer Canisia Lubrin and Ohio State Associate Professor and Director of Creative Writing Marcus Jackson.
Earlier in the week, you can hear from Associate Professor Erica Levin on October 3 as she discusses her new book The Channeled Image: Art and Media Politics after Television. Then, on October 4, celebrate the return of Cinéseries—a program organized by Ohio State students—with a screening of Purple Sea, followed by a group discussion.
Proudly hailing from The Ohio State University, Tommy Reid is an accomplished director and producer of over 25 years. He has worked across multiple areas of filmmaking including independent feature, documentary, and field production. Reid’s production credits include Kill the Irishman, the short film Americans, I Know That Voice, and We the People: The Market Basket Effect. Reid lives in Manhattan Beach, California, with his wife and two children.
This event is organized by The Ohio State University Department of Theatre, Film, and Media Arts in partnership with the Wexner Center for the Arts.
