The Ottawa International Animation Festival, held each September, is the largest of its kind in North America. This traveling program includes highlights from the 2006 festival and displays the wide array of styles and subjects being explored by animators from around the world.

Featured titles include Guilherme Marcondes's Tyger (Brazil; image 1), Andreas Hykade's The Runt (Germany; image 2), and Chris Choy's The Possum (USA; image 3). These works are sophisticated, innovative, and intended for grown-up animation fans. Not appropriate for children. (86 mins., video)
