The Removals

The Wex is proud to host the world premiere of the cerebral thriller The Removals, the second feature produced by the acclaimed Columbus-based, family-run boutique book publisher Two Dollar Radio. Two agents set out to undermine a secretive agency bent on controlling society by restaging everyday events on a wide scale, thereby erasing the boundary between originality and reproduction. Evoking the work of Shane Carruth or David Lynch, The Removals is a provocative analogy for the trajectory of contemporary social communication. Mike Shiflet created the soundtrack. The Removals director Nicholas Rombes signs copies of his novel The Absolution of Roberto Acestes Laing (2014, Two Dollar Radio) and his book on the first Ramones record (from the popular 33 1/3 series) 6–7 PM in the Wexner Center Store.
