In the charming drama The Tenth Summer, ten-year-old Kali is king for a day on his birthday. A Columbus premiere! The birthday boy demands a summer filled with exuberant fun: building a zoo in the basement, romancing a girlfriend, and teaching a pet monkey circus tricks. While his parents spend their lives worrying about jobs and bad neighbors, Kali sees beyond the surface and finds the true meaning of community. (Germany, 97 mins.)
