Lynch's films usually follow obsessed men, but in his engrossing new documentary, A Whale of a Tale, the director himself is the man consumed. Hear his thoughts on the film at this special screening.

When a whale bone is incongruously found during the excavation of a new Toronto subway line (over 600 miles away from the ocean), Lynch begins to look into how such a mysterious event could have occurred. His tangential musings encompass extinction, museums, biology, theology, and sideshow attractions. (2004; 90 mins.)
