The prolific career of Frank Borzage successfully bridged the silent and sound eras and was marked by an affinity for romanticism and lush visuals.

Young America follows a good-hearted orphan headed to reform school until he is taken in by a married couple, acted by Spencer Tracy and Doris Kenyon. (71 mins., 35mm)

In Song O’ My Heart, the great Irish tenor John McCormack makes his talkie debut in a story about a retired singer who resumes his career to support a former love played by Maureen O'Sullivan. (85 mins., 35mm)
