BalletMet Columbus Jazz Moves Take 2

Bebop and brassy blue notes meet bold ballet as BalletMet and the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, directed by Byron Stripling, unite to create a mesmerizing fusion of dance and live jazz.

The irrepressible onstage chemistry will thrill jazz lovers and dance devotees alike in fresh interpretations of familiar favorites and exciting new works, including a piece by renowned choreographer Maurice Hines, the artistic director of the soon-to-be-renovated Lincoln Theater on Columbus’s Near East Side, the historical hot bed of jazz in our city.
