With noted choreographer Bebe Miller joining the faculty of Ohio State's top-rated Department of Dance and putting down roots in Columbus, we are pleased to join forces in showcasing her latest work.

In Verge, Bebe Miller smartly blends movement and text to examine the power of touch to define events--what is allowed and what is not allowed. With potent passages of partnering, her dancers illuminate the ways we feel our way through the halls of life and seek human contact.

Hahn Rowe's subtle soundscapes, Michael Mazzola's sensitive lighting, and Scott Pask's set design build Verge's atmospheric world, which sharply contrasts the comfort of a favorite room with the stark sense of the surrounding void.
