"The world seems a brighter place for their existence ."-NME

Department of Eagles is a project of Daniel Rossen, known to most for his other band, Grizzly Bear. Rossen has been making music as Department of Eagles since 2001, when he and Fred Nicolaus (then Rossen's roommate at New York University) started creating lo-fi orchestral songs that were too personal for the feel of Grizzly Bear. The band's second album, In Ear Park (on the legendary 4AD label), is dedicated to Rossen's late father. The subject matter may seem melancholy, but the end result is one of the most uplifting records of the year, already landing on many "best of" lists. Grizzly Bear's appearance at the Wexner Center last year sold out--don"t miss out on what promises to be an equally special show.

Note: This show is standing only.
