Bigger Site Highlights Social Media, Audio/Video, Breaking News, More

In conjunction with partner Resource Interactive, the Wexner Center for the Arts has redesigned its website at http://wexarts.org. The overarching goal for the new site is to deepen the user experience, before and after a visit to the Wexner Center, that facilitates access to more of the site’s content while highlighting notable events.

In the three years since the Wexner Center’s last redesign, on–site traffic has increased 175%. Additions of a Wexner Center blog, videos, podcasts, and comments on wexarts.org have created a burgeoning electronic community…the new design gives added visibility to new features while retaining information that patrons want most.

“We wanted to provide greater flexibility in our ability to efficiently communicate with our audience,” says Jerry Dannemiller, Wexner Center Director of Marketing and Communications. “Patrons have told us they want more news and info electronically, along with print. This refresh expands the Wexner Center experience.”

Resource Interactive, a nationally ranked digital marketing agency, has been a partner in the Wexner Center’s web presence for over a decade. In this most recent update Resource assisted in implementing Wexner designs, database and server-side coordination, and search engine optimization.

“We love having a nationally recognized institution such as the Wexner Center in our city. Lending our expertise to a place we all personally believe in—it’s an honor,” said Resource Interactive CEO Nancy Kramer.

Some highlights to the new site:
