Architecture Interruptus

Join us for this special opportunity to hear Jose Oubrerie, professor at Ohio State's Knowlton School of Architecture, provide a first-hand account of the completion of the Church of St. Pierre in Firminy, France.

Oubrerie began working on the church as a protégé of famed architect Le Corbusier in the early 1960s, but a series of misfortunes conspired to delay the project's realization for over 40 years. The church was at last completed under Oubrerie’s direction in November 2006 and is the subject of the exhibition Architecture Interruptus, on view through April 15.
