Artist’s Talk: Zoe Strauss

wex grid image fill

Hear Strauss discuss her philosophy and practice, from the Under I-95 project to her upcoming Philadelphia Museum of Art exhibition, in this afternoon talk. Strauss, whose work is on view in the lower lobby, is known for her photographs that invest people and places at the margins of our society—the clerk at the convenience store, the façade of an abandoned building, a hand-lettered sign with its characters askew—with the simple dignity of recognition.
