Chase Twichell and Russell Banks

This joint reading features poet Chase Twichell and fiction writer Russell Banks. Twichell's recent books of poetry include The Snow Watcher (1998), The Ghost of Eden (1998), and Perdido (1991). She also coedited The Practice of Poetry: Writing Exercises from Poets Who Teach with Robin Behn (1992).

Russell Banks is the author of more than a dozen novels and short story collections, including Searching for Survivors (1975), Trailerpark (1996), and Rule of the Bone (1995). His books Affliction (1989) and The Sweet Hereafter (1991) were made into feature films.
