Docent-In-Training Program

The Wexner Center exhibits work created by artists from around the globe, and we welcome visitors from a range of backgrounds and communities. In order to serve diverse audiences, we need a diverse team. Docents lead meaningful gallery discussions and empower visitors to experience art from a range of perspectives, guiding the public in exploring issues of identity, race, sexuality, politics, and more. An academic background in the arts isn’t necessary, but a love for and curiosity about the arts and people are essential.

The Wexner Center has recently entered into an exciting partnership with the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library & Museum. Wexner Center docents now have the opportunity to learn about and give public tours of both institutions. Join us to expand your knowledge of contemporary art as well as cartoons and comics.
