Find out all about communicating and representing skate/surf culture visually. How do you get those shots? What matters most to professional talent scouts—photographic stills or video footage? You'll spend the week getting answers to questions like those from Cory Ryan, an expert skateboarder and digital photographer. You'll work in a group and individually to develop your "brand" and look, in addition to trying cutting-edge photographic techniques so new you'll be the first among your friends to even know about them. In this class, lifestyle and art intersect—and your skateboard is welcome to take the class with you, free of charge. Click here to register online. Many classes fill quickly, and outside of regular business hours (9 AM–5 PM weekdays), priority will be given to people using online registration. Registration fees are per student per week and include materials and equipment. A limited number of scholarships are available for families requiring financial assistance. Download the scholarship application from the links below and submit it by April 12 to be considered for financial assistance. We’ll let you know exactly where your workshop meets. Changes and cancellations Dates and times are subject to change. The Wexner Center reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment without incurring obligations. If a class is canceled, you may transfer to another class or request a tuition refund. If you withdraw from a summer workshop up to seven days before the event, you will receive a refund less a $25 non-refundable deposit. No refunds will be given after that time. Need more info?
