Past
Join us for a conversation between two of today's most innovative artists, both specialists in the use of digital technology. Fabian Marcaccio's Paint-Ball Robot (2001) and Sachiko Kodama's Protrude, Flow (2001) are on view as part of Mood River's grand finale. Painter Fabian Marcaccio, along with architect Greg Lynn, used silk screening and animation software to translate the special effects of film into the effects of painting and architecture in The Predator (2001), a Wexner Center Residency Award project exhibited last year in Suite Fantastique. Sachiko Kodama, from Tokyo's University of Electro-Communications, makes interactive artworks using computers, digital media, and such new materials as magnetic fluid.
