Explore the witty work of William Wegman during a day full of learning and art making for families. Take interactive tours, watch screenings of some of Wegman’s short films, and enjoy workshops including comedy theater, “funney” photography, animal storybooks, and animal movement throughout the day. Members can come early—starting at 11 AM—to beat the crowds. Kid-friendly snacks will be available at Cam’s on Campus, plus we’ll be serving Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams (12:30–2 PM). Parking Thoughout the day, a free shuttle service will be available from South Campus Gateway's parking garage to the Wexner Center. Parking at Gateway is only $1 for up to three hours. Members can park for free for three hours (bring your ticket to the Patron Services Desk for validation). Hourly parking is also available on campus at Arps Garage, about one block north of the Wexner Center. (The Ohio Union Garage is currently closed for renovation and construction.) WHERE (AND WHEN) TO FIND THE FUN! Postman Shorts 12 PM and 2 PM Performance Space Ever notice that the best comedians are also a bit strange? Local favorite Robert Post brings on the humor with his comedy theater shorts for the whole family. Animal Moves 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM Performance Space Dancers will lead multiple workshops and present a short performance based on inspiration from animals—even dogs! Funney Photography 11 AM-4 PM Mershon Stage Artist Chet Hay, costumers, backdrops and props will be on hand for adults and children to take instant photographs of one another. Once Upon an Animal 11 AM-4 PM Mershon Auditorium Lobby Using fun animal photos, you’ll get to build a story from start to finish. Artist Jamie Stamm will help you construct a book that can be taken home. Postcard Pictures 11 AM-4 PM Mershon Auditorium Lobby Join artist Neil Goldenberg in creating a fantastic universe using a collage of postcards, drawing materials, and a little imagination. Wegman Shorts Film/Video Theater 11 AM-4 PM Sit back and relax while you enjoy a selection of short films. Discovery Tour 11 AM-4 PM See our exhibition at your own pace on our self-guided discovery tour...with a prize for kids who complete the tour.
