I'm in the Mood for... Family Day

Explore the connection between art and emotions in this fun-filled afternoon of free activities especially for kids ages 4-12 and accompanying adults.

This exciting Family Day features activities inspired by Mood River, our new exhibition of contemporary art and design. You'll learn that moods can be expressed through works of art and the design of everyday objects in many different ways.

Become a designer yourself and create a colorful mood box. Be a dancer for a day and express your feelings through movement. Or try your hand at being a musician and discover the many emotions that can be expressed through sound. Families will also enjoy listening to stories, participating in a special discovery tour, and creating a mural to show their many moods.

Come for an hour or two or for the whole afternoon. No registration is required.
