Explore how architecture shapes and reflects human activity in a workshop that includes a tour of Columbus and a film shot here.
In conjunction with the exhibition of installations from Johan van der Keuken's The Body and the City, architect Addison Goodell leads you on an adventure into the heart of Columbus. Educators will travel around the city exploring how its architecture creates activity. The workshop finishes at the Wexner Center with a tour of the exhibition and a screening and discussion of van der Keuken's film The White Castle (1973), filmed in part in Columbus.
OSU graduate credit is available (Art Ed 795, 01 credit). Call for details. Registration for noncredit is also available. Documentation will be provided for you to submit to your Local Professional Development Committee for possible Continuing Education Units (CEU) credit earned by attending the workshop.
This ArtStart workshop has a small fee for materials. Please note that this fee does not include OSU tuition.
