Lambert Family Lecture: Remembering Louise

Join us for an evening of remembrance and celebration of this extraordinary, Wexner Prize–winning artist's life and work, organized in conjunction with Double Sexus: Hans Bellmer and Louise Bourgeois.

For thirty years, Jerry Gorovoy was artist Louise Bourgeois's assistant, collaborator, and friend. Noted critic and curator Germano Celant, former senior curator of contemporary art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York, organized Bourgeois's final exhibition before she passed away in May 2010. Tonight, they'll share their memories and insights.

The galleries will stay open late tonight, so that you can see Bourgeois's work in Double Sexus: Hans Bellmer and Louise Bourgeois before the talk.

Made possible by generous support from the Lambert Family Lecture Series Endowment, which promotes dialogue about global issues in art and contemporary culture.

Generous support for the Wexner Center's presentation of Double Sexus is provided by Agnes Gund and Dorothy Lichtenstein.
