Media artist Ronen Goldstein helps you connect the wires. You'll use make-shift tools and cannibalize old radios, thrift store sound toys, and other weird bits of equipment to produce cacophony, dissonance, atonality, and distorted repetition. Known for its rich layering and experimental sound, this creative form dates back to the futurists and dada artists of the early 20th century and is used today by pop and indie artists alike. I believe that all art is education and all that is educative help builds character and wisdom. So, as artist/teachers, we have to be careful with our concepts of truth. I try to exercise honesty in my exploration of materiality and identity. Although my identity flips through abstraction and nonlinearity in live video performances set to DJ's music, audio/video installations, interactive works, or surprise happenings, I feel that the root lies in the community. I am grateful for those that inspire me, and I hope to spiral this spirit back. Registration info Click here to register online using our system powered by Acteva.
