Nick Hornby

New Yorker pop music critic and High Fidelity author Nick Hornby reads from his recent work.

Fiction writer Nick Hornby is the author of High Fidelity (1996), Fever Pitch (1998), About a Boy (1999), and most recently, How to Be Good (2001). The pop music critic for the New Yorker, he has also edited Speaking with the Angel (2001), a collection of short stories.

In 1999, Hornby was given the E. M. Forster Award by the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Hornby, who lives and works in Highbury, North London, is a writer-in-residence in Ohio State's Department of English during winter quarter. In addition to this reading, he is teaching a one-week graduate fiction workshop.
