Work with Terry Barrett, professor of art education at Ohio State and author of Criticizing Photographs: An Introduction to Understanding Images, in this daylong program about reading photographs. Using the exhibition of photographic works by artist Louise Lawler as a starting point, Dr. Barrett will introduce critical processes that you can use to enhance your ability to read, understand, and appreciate photographs. In the afternoon you will work with Wexner Center staff members to photograph and critically examine the Wexner Center, as both a work of art and a public institution. Please bring your digital camera. Additional cameras will be available.

Call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org by September 28 to register.
