Join us to explore the center’s spring/summer exhibitions and learn about upcoming professional development opportunities for educators. You’ll discuss the works in the galleries and find out how connections can be made between your classroom curriculum and the center’s programming. The three intriguing shows are on view from April through the summer. They cover quite a spectrum but each is a "first" in a special way. Catch Air: Robin Rhode is the first solo exhibition in a U.S. museum by a fascinating younger artist from South Africa. COOP HIMMELB(L)AU: Beyond the Blue brings you the most extensive U.S. examination to date of an innovative architectural firm that's turned heads with such recent projects as the Akron Art Museum's expansion and BMW Welt (the automotive company's huge new distribution center) in Munich, Germany. William Forsythe: Transfigurations (a Wexner Center Residency Award project) shows you how one of today's leading choreographers has expanded his work into new settings and contexts--beyond the stage. For additional information or to RSVP, call (614) 292-6493 or e-mail edweb@wexarts.org.
